Flexible Payment Options

PharmaLink works with healthcare practices of all sizes, from groups with hundreds of providers and dozens of locations to one-provider family practices. Our flexible billing and payment options are designed to meet all of our customers’ needs and minimize administrative burden. With our medication dispensing solution, most of our customers use one of the following two options:

  • Standard 30-day Billing Terms (“Pay Upfront”): invoice is sent with standard 30-day terms when medications are shipped to the customer; we accept all major credit cards as well as checks, e-checks, and ACH.

  • Interest-Free Inventory Financing** (“Pay OnDispense”): under this model, we ship the medications directly to your practice, but you do not have to pay for them until they have been successfully dispensed to your patients or upon expiration (typically 18-24 months from order). We keep a credit card on file for your account and charge weekly for dispenses. This option allows you to be immediately profitable and cash flow positive from day 1!

The system utilizes the label printer and barcode scanner to track items by to the level of detail desired, either by lot number or simply keeping an accurate inventory count. Automatic PDMP Reporting

PharmaLink’s web-based dispensing software makes reporting your controlled substance dispenses quick and painless. All states and the District of Columbia currently operate Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP), which require dispensers of Schedule II through Schedule IV medications (as well as schedule V in most states and some legend drugs in certain states) to report those dispenses to a database that can be accessed by practitioners, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to prevent abuse and diversion of controlled medications.

PharmaLink’s software automatically reports required PDMP data electronically on behalf of our customers, eliminating this tedious administrative burden. As a user dispenses a controlled medication through our system, the software will prompt for any missing information. Dispenses are reported to each state in the required interval (typically daily, 72 hours, or weekly), and “Zero-Fill” reports are also submitted where required.
